Malindi Palm

Breegan Jane x Clarke and Clarke Fabric FabricCCF0768-03

Malindi Palm layers palms, fronds and smaller tropical leaves across a pale ivory ground, with fresh green foliage creating a light, collected botanical effect. The varied leaf shapes give the design plenty of visual detail while keeping this colourway airy.

About this fabric

This 296gsm fabric is printed with a dense arrangement of palms and tropical foliage in several green tones, from soft leafy green to deeper olive accents. The pale ground keeps the overall colourway cool and bright rather than dark or heavily saturated, allowing the individual fronds and fine leaves to remain clearly defined. It has a 140cm usable width and a substantial 95.5cm vertical by 70cm horizontal pattern repeat, useful details when planning the placement of the larger palm motifs. Supplied in a standard 35m length, Malindi Palm offers a versatile mid-weight option for upholstery and drapery.

How to use it

Use the ivory and fresh green palette to bring a light conservatory feel to curtains, occasional chairs or a feature headboard. Pair it with natural timber, rattan and quiet cream textiles so the varied palm silhouettes remain the focus.

A fresh ivory-ground tropical botanical for relaxed upholstery, curtains and coordinated soft furnishings.

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Malindi Palm without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
