About this fabric

Monarch Eau De Nil is woven on a pale, cool eau-de-nil ground with a fine horizontal slub that gives the surface a gently striated appearance. Layered botanical stems and broad, hazy foliage sit behind butterflies picked out in muted coral, dusty blue and charcoal, with a small bee at the right edge. At 308 gsm and 138 cm usable width, it has the substance of a versatile mid-weight textile for upholstery or drapery. Its 97.5 cm vertical repeat and 69 cm horizontal repeat allow the airy leaves and insect details to be positioned with care across a scheme.

How to use it

Use this cool pale green colourway with chalky neutrals, light timber and soft grey upholstery, bringing out the muted coral and blue butterfly accents through cushions or small accessories. Its gentle contrast suits relaxed curtains as well as occasional upholstered pieces.
