Cranbrook Eau De Nil

Castle Garden FabricCCF0178-03

Cranbrook Eau De Nil combines a pale, cool eau-de-nil ground with softly defined grey-green floral bouquets. The woven surface gives the colourway a gently textured, softly aged appearance rather than a flat printed finish.

About this fabric

The design shows scrolling stems, layered leaves and rounded floral heads arranged across the pale green ground, with the grey-green drawing softened by the visible crosshatch weave. At 465gsm, this is a substantial textile suited to upholstery, while its 137cm usable width allows practical pattern planning. The pattern repeats every 60cm vertically and 35cm horizontally, giving the floral arrangement a medium-scale presence on furniture. Its cool, desaturated tone keeps the ornate botanical motif calm and quietly elegant.

How to use it

Pair this muted eau-de-nil colourway with chalky whites, weathered timber and pale stone for a fresh, collected scheme. On a reading chair or upholstered bed, the grey-green floral tracery adds detail without introducing a strong or saturated accent.

Use this soft eau-de-nil floral for upholstered chairs, headboards or occasional seating where its muted colouring can temper the ornate pattern.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
