About this colour
This shade sits close to black on a wall, but the green remains visible, especially in stronger light. Its #132019 value gives it a cool, dense character that absorbs a lot of light and makes nearby colours look cleaner and sharper. In a north-facing room it can feel especially sombre and almost ink-like, while in south light the green comes forward a little and the colour gains more depth. It works well beside pale linens, warm oak, aged brass and dark stained timber, where the contrast feels deliberate and calm.
How to use it
