About this fabric

The large checked design is built from alternating pale blocks, with the intersecting threads creating subtle shifts between sage, grey, beige and creamy off-white. Its lightly textured face and 332 gsm weight give the cloth enough substance for upholstery as well as drapery. The fabric has a 135 cm usable width, with a vertical pattern repeat of 19.5 cm and a horizontal repeat of 17.5 cm for planning joins and pattern placement. A standard length of 40 m is supplied.

How to use it

Use the warm cream and beige squares to soften a relaxed sofa or occasional chair, then pick up the pale sage and soft grey in cushions, painted cabinetry or understated curtains. Its low-contrast natural colouring works especially well where a checked pattern is wanted without a sharp country look.
