Serengeti Tropical is an expressive abstract textile built from horizontal brush-like streaks in cream, rust, ochre, brown and pale blue. Its softly blurred bands create a richly layered surface with a warm, sun-faded character.

About this fabric

Fine horizontal striations run through the design, breaking the larger bands into a tactile-looking mix of pale cream, dusty brown, muted rust and flashes of cool blue. The warmer ochre and terracotta notes give this colourway depth, while the blue marks prevent the overall effect from feeling overly heavy. At 196 gsm and 138 cm usable width, it is a versatile mid-weight fabric suitable for both upholstery and drapery. The pattern has a 67 cm vertical repeat and 68 cm horizontal repeat, supplied in a standard 35 m length.

How to use it

Use the cream and ochre ground to connect with natural timber, woven neutrals or warm stone, then pick up the restrained blue accents in cushions or painted joinery. The rust and brown streaks are especially effective on relaxed upholstered seating where the horizontal movement can be appreciated.
