About this fabric

This woven check has a substantial 332gsm weight and a gently grainy surface visible across the swatch. Muted plum squares sit alongside oat, pale sage and warm cream blocks, creating a softened, low-saturation colour balance rather than a crisp graphic contrast. The pattern repeats every 19.5cm vertically and 17.5cm horizontally, giving the check a medium-scale presence on furniture or at the window. With a 135cm useable width and a standard 40m length, it is a practical mid-weight option for coordinated upholstery and drapery schemes.

How to use it

Pair Austin Check Heather with warm oak, aged brass and chalky neutral walls to draw out its oat and cream tones, or use it against deeper plum accents for a more enveloping room. Its pale sage blocks can also link naturally with muted green paint and plain textured cushions.

Use this muted heather check to bring softly layered plum, oat and pale sage tones to upholstery, curtains or cushions.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
