About this fabric

The design features repeated flowering stems, dotted fan-shaped blooms, small mustard berry clusters and elongated outlined leaves, all picked out in muted terracotta, olive, blue and ochre tones. Against the cream background, the Spice colourway feels warm and gently layered rather than highly saturated, with the darker red and green details adding depth. At 288gsm, it is a versatile mid-weight suitable for both upholstery and drapery. The fabric has a 125cm usable width, a 78cm vertical repeat and a 62.5cm horizontal repeat, so the botanical placement should be considered carefully when cutting larger pieces.

How to use it

Use Protini Spice on a relaxed occasional chair, bench or pair of curtains where its warm cream ground can brighten the room while terracotta and olive pick up painted furniture, timber and earthy accessories. Its 78cm vertical repeat is well suited to projects where the full flowering stems can be shown to advantage.
