About this fabric

The visible woven texture gives the pale taupe background a natural, gently irregular surface rather than a flat printed appearance. Blossom clusters combine chalky ivory, blush pink and muted rose, while the dark damson edging adds small points of contrast and depth. Ochre foliage and fine brown-gold stems warm the cooler ground without overpowering it. At 406 gsm and 126 cm usable width, this substantial textile is well suited to upholstery; the pattern repeats every 31.5 cm vertically and 42 cm horizontally.

How to use it

Use Summerby Damson on an occasional chair, footstool or upholstered headboard where its soft taupe ground can settle alongside warm timber, aged brass and dusty pink textiles. Keep surrounding fabrics quiet so the damson-outlined blossoms and golden leaves remain clearly defined.
