Ruskin Weaves FabricMOF0125-17

Ruskin Saffron is a rich golden-yellow upholstery weave with a quiet, finely textured surface. Its even colour shifts subtly between saffron and ochre as the light moves across the cloth.

About this fabric

This plain woven fabric has no vertical or horizontal pattern repeat, leaving the warm saffron tone uninterrupted across the 140cm usable width. At 410gsm, it has a substantial handle suited to upholstery rather than a lightweight curtain cloth. The close surface shows a discreet woven grain, with fine tonal variation that prevents the golden colour from appearing flat. With 22 threads per centimetre and a standard 30m length, it is a practical choice for coordinated upholstery projects.

How to use it

Use Ruskin Saffron to give a chair, bench or sofa a warm ochre-gold centrepiece, then balance its saturated tone with chalky neutrals, walnut wood or deep olive accents. The plain surface also works well where the surrounding room already contains patterned textiles.

A dense saffron-gold weave that brings warm, tailored colour to upholstered seating and occasional furniture.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
