About this fabric

This substantial 433gsm fabric has a 137.2cm usable width and a 44.8cm vertical pattern repeat, making the compact all-over design practical to position across upholstered pieces. The surface is filled with curling stems, tulip heads and paisley-like leaves in cream, soft olive, dusty coral and muted terracotta. Against the ochre-gold ground, the contrasting motifs read gently rather than brightly, giving the colourway a mellow, timeworn depth. With 30 threads per centimetre and a standard 60m length, it has the visual and physical presence suited to considered upholstery projects.

How to use it

Use Scrolling Tulip Gold on a reading chair, headboard or occasional sofa where its warm ochre base can sit alongside ivory, olive and weathered wood. Keep surrounding patterns restrained so the fine cream and coral scrolling remains legible.

Use this warm ochre-gold floral for upholstered seating, layered with natural linens, olive tones and aged timber.
