About this fabric

This substantial woven fabric weighs 978gsm and has 81.8 threads per centimetre, supporting its upholstery-led character. Interlocking pointed arches and diamond-shaped floral compartments create a formal repeat, with plum blossoms and scrolling red lines standing out against the slate ground. Small cream, beige and subdued olive motifs soften the cool grey base without making the overall colourway feel pale. The pattern repeats every 46cm vertically and 32.5cm horizontally across a usable width of 135cm.

How to use it

Use this slate-and-plum colourway on a statement armchair, sofa or dining seat where its dark ground can anchor a room. Pair it with warm stone, muted olive and aged timber to pick up the quieter colours within the floral weave.
