About this fabric

This substantial 470 gsm fabric is well suited to upholstery, with a 135 cm usable width for cutting larger pieces. Its floral repeat measures 46 cm vertically by 45 cm horizontally, creating a regular but visually intricate field of scrolling stems and blossoms. The plum-red ground reads warm and muted rather than bright, while the fine ochre, beige and near-black motifs sharpen the pattern and catch the light across the textured surface. A specification of 28 threads per cm supports the tightly detailed appearance visible in this colourway.

How to use it

Use the deep plum-red tone on a statement armchair, ottoman or dining seat where its ornate floral density can be appreciated up close. Balance it with warm timber, aged brass and quiet beige upholstery elsewhere so the ochre and charcoal details remain defined.
