About this fabric
This substantial fabric weighs 515gsm and has a useable width of 135cm, giving the stripe enough visual presence for upholstery. The design is made from narrow vertical bands, with a horizontal pattern repeat of 33.6cm and a very short vertical repeat of 1.6cm. In this colourway, deep burgundy-wine tones are tempered by slim cream, taupe and charcoal details, so the overall effect feels warm, dense and quietly dramatic rather than bright. The 22 threads-per-centimetre construction contributes to the closely textured appearance visible across the swatch.
How to use it
Use the deep wine ground on a structured armchair, dining seat or upholstered headboard where the vertical lines can emphasise the form. Pair it with warm timber, aged brass and muted taupe textiles to balance the stripe’s saturated red depth.
