About this fabric

The design alternates narrow indigo stripes, including fine patterned bands, with broader flax-toned lines that give the cloth a crisp architectural rhythm. The indigo reads as cool and muted rather than bright, while the flax ground softens the contrast and allows the woven texture to remain visible. At 512 gsm and 22 threads per cm, this is a notably substantial fabric suited to upholstery. It has a 135 cm usable width, a 30 m standard length and a 6.7 cm horizontal pattern repeat; the vertical repeat is 0 cm.

How to use it

Use this cool indigo-and-flax stripe on a tailored armchair, sofa or headboard, where its vertical direction adds height and its warm flax ground keeps the scheme approachable. Pair it with chalky neutrals, aged timber or deeper blue accents to echo the colourway’s measured contrast.

A substantial indigo-and-flax stripe for upholstered seating, headboards and occasional furniture.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
