Dallington Stripe Mulberry pairs a warm cream ground with closely spaced vertical lines in a deep, muted mulberry red. Narrow geometric bands add a finely patterned edge to the bolder stripes, giving the cloth a tailored, graphic character.

About this fabric

This substantial 480 gsm fabric is well suited to upholstery, with 101 threads per cm lending definition to its striped construction. The cream background keeps the design light, while the mulberry lines bring a shaded red-purple depth rather than a bright, vivid red. The pattern has a 4 cm vertical repeat and a 22.4 cm horizontal repeat, creating a measured sequence of plain lines and small decorative geometric bands. Its 135 cm usable width makes the vertical layout practical for chairs, headboards and other upholstered forms.

How to use it

Use this muted mulberry-and-cream colourway on a traditional armchair, dining chair or upholstered headboard where its vertical striping can emphasise height. Pair it with warm neutrals, aged timber and restrained burgundy accents to echo the fabric’s red-purple depth.
