Dallington Stripe Herball
The Unfinished Works Stripes FabricMOF0252-01
In this Herball colourway, a pale cream ground is threaded with muted sage-green stripes, alternating slim lines with narrow bands of tiny floral-geometric marks. The overall effect is cool, quiet and finely linear rather than high-contrast.

About this fabric
Herball sets a pale cream ground against muted sage-green vertical stripes, with tiny repeated floral-geometric marks contained within the narrowest bands. Its 480 gsm weight and 101 threads-per-cm construction give the cloth a dense, substantial presence suited to upholstery. The 4 cm vertical repeat and 22.4 cm horizontal repeat keep the alternating lines and ornamented bands crisply ordered across the 135 cm usable width. The surface reads as finely woven and softly matte, allowing the restrained green to retain its depth without becoming bright or heavily saturated.
How to use it
Use this muted sage-and-cream stripe on a tailored armchair, bench or dining seat, balancing its cool green with warm timber, natural linen and softly aged brass. Its narrow linear rhythm also works well on a box cushion where the vertical direction can be carefully aligned.
A smart sage-and-ivory stripe for tailored upholstery and calm, structured interiors.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
