Daisy & Oak Thyme/Weld

The Unfinished Works Fabrics FabricMOF0251-02

Daisy & Oak Thyme/Weld brings a detailed, repeating garden composition to the surface, combining muted thyme foliage with cream ground and warm weld-yellow flowers. The cool green balance keeps the dense floral pattern feeling composed rather than bright.

About this fabric

The design is arranged as an evenly spaced floral repeat, with leafy sprays, stylised stems and small daisy-like blooms picked out in thyme green, cream and soft golden yellow. At 239 gsm, this is a versatile mid-weight fabric suited to both upholstery and drapery. Its usable width is 137.2 cm, with a 35.9 cm vertical repeat and 45.7 cm horizontal repeat to consider when pattern matching. The restrained, slightly greyed green gives the colourway a calm depth, while the weld accents add gentle warmth without overpowering the foliage.

How to use it

Use Thyme/Weld on a reading chair, bench or occasional sofa where its medium-scale pattern can be appreciated up close, pairing it with warm oak and undyed linen. It also works as softly structured curtains, bringing the cream ground and golden flowers into a room without introducing a strong saturated colour.

A versatile Morris floral in muted thyme green, cream and warm weld yellow for tailored upholstery or softly structured curtains.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Daisy & Oak Thyme/Weld without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
