About this fabric

The design is led by pale sage leaves and large cream flowers, outlined with delicate charcoal and grey-green detailing; small tan and russet motifs bring warmth, while restrained blue-green accents add cool contrast. At 225 gsm, the fabric has a versatile mid-weight presence suited to both upholstery and drapery applications. Its 304 cm useable width allows the pattern to be considered generously across wide curtains or larger upholstered pieces. The repeat measures 45 cm vertically by 50.6 cm horizontally, and the fabric is specified at 36 threads per cm.

How to use it

Use this sage-and-tan colourway on full-height curtains to let the 304 cm width showcase its continuous botanical rhythm, or introduce it to an occasional chair against warm oak and softly textured cream upholstery. Tan leather and muted blue-green accessories will pick up the pattern’s contrasting accents without overpowering its pale ground.

Pair the softly muted sage ground with warm timber, natural linen and tan leather for a calm, layered scheme.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Simply Severn Wide Width Sage Leaf/Tan without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
