About this fabric

At 590 gsm, this is a substantial fabric suited to upholstery, with a dense surface that supports the intricate botanical drawing. The indigo ground shifts from deep blue to almost charcoal in the darker areas, while pale leaves and curling tendrils catch the light across the face of the cloth. The pattern repeats every 68.5 cm vertically and 69 cm horizontally, creating a continuous all-over arrangement of vines, foliage and floral details. It has a 138 cm usable width and a stated construction of 137 threads per centimetre.

How to use it

Use this cool, deep indigo colourway on a statement armchair, ottoman or sofa, balancing its busy pale foliage with plain ivory, chalk-grey or charcoal textiles. Its formal botanical character also suits a traditional study or richly layered sitting room.

Use this weighty indigo botanical for statement upholstery, pairing its cool blue depth with pale grey, ivory and charcoal accents.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
