About this fabric

This substantial 545gsm textile combines muted woad blue, soft linen and restrained terracotta-rust stripes in a closely spaced vertical arrangement. Fine blue edging and textured linear details give the stripe definition, while the linen ground keeps the colourway light rather than heavily contrasted. With a 135cm usable width, it is well suited to upholstery where its weight can support a tailored finish. The supplied pattern repeats measure 2cm vertically and 26.9cm horizontally, with 104 threads per centimetre contributing to the close, detailed surface.

How to use it

Pair this cool blue-and-linen stripe with warm oak, natural timber and rust-toned accents to draw out the small terracotta lines. Its orderly vertical direction works particularly well on neat dining chairs, ottomans and structured armchairs.

Use the cool woad and warm rust accents to bring tailored colour and rhythm to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
