About this fabric

Across the pale ground, cool indigo teardrop-shaped tulips sit among tightly drawn scrolling foliage, with blue-green details and small pale motifs creating a richly worked surface. At 680 gsm, the fabric has a substantial handle well suited to upholstery. Its construction is listed at 28 threads per cm, while the 32 cm vertical and 32.5 cm horizontal repeats create a clearly measured pattern rhythm. The indigo reads deep and cool rather than bright, giving the colourway a formal, ink-like depth.

How to use it

Use this cool indigo colourway on a statement armchair, dining seat or upholstered headboard, balancing its intricate pattern with warm timber and quiet cream tones.

Pair the cool indigo ground with pale timber, cream upholstery piping and muted blue-green accents.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
