About this fabric

The fabric reads as a muted woad blue, sitting between soft denim and slate, with a lightly brushed-looking visual quality created by its close weave. At 410 gsm and 22 threads per cm, it has the substantial presence expected of an upholstery textile. The supplied vertical and horizontal pattern repeats are both 0 cm, matching the plain, uninterrupted surface visible in the swatch. It has a 140 cm usable width and a standard length of 30 m.

How to use it

Use Ruskin Woad on a sofa, armchair or dining seat where its cool blue tone can anchor warmer timber, natural flooring and muted neutrals. Its quiet plain weave also works well alongside patterned cushions without competing for attention.

A substantial plain weave in a cool, muted blue, well suited to upholstered seating and occasional furniture.
