About this fabric

This 252 gsm fabric has a 139 cm usable width, making the repeating floral composition practical for both upholstery and drapery applications. Its 38 threads per cm specification supports the closely detailed appearance visible across the swatch. The muted blue-grey slate ground reads cool and slightly chalky, while the ivory flowers and leaves add gentle definition without a strong contrast break. With a 53.5 cm vertical repeat and 28 cm horizontal repeat, the chrysanthemums form a medium-scale pattern with a regular, flowing rhythm.

How to use it

Use this cool slate-blue colourway on a reading chair, relaxed Roman blind or full-length curtains, and balance it with ivory, natural linen and pale timber. The subdued contrast works especially well where a floral pattern is wanted without a bright or sugary effect.
