About this fabric

This 416 gsm velvet is suited to upholstery, with a useable width of 133 cm for planning patterned furniture. Its 52 cm vertical repeat and 44 cm horizontal repeat create a clearly defined rhythm of paired birds, foliage and floral detail. The indigo ground reads dark and saturated, while peach and cream motifs add warmth and the thyme-green leaves keep the overall colourway grounded. With 57.7 threads per cm, the fabric has a substantial, closely constructed specification appropriate to its richly detailed appearance.

How to use it

Use this indigo-and-thyme colourway on a statement armchair, ottoman or sofa, balancing its dark ground with warm timber, aged brass and muted peach or cream accents. The peach birds can be picked out with cushions or painted details without competing with the dense botanical repeat.
