About this fabric

This colourway reads as a deep wine red, with a touch of raspberry warmth rather than a brown burgundy cast. The visible weave is compact and tactile, and the 56 threads per cm specification helps explain the close, refined surface seen in the swatch. At 344gsm and 137.5cm wide, it has the substance expected of an upholstery fabric while still keeping a neat, tailored appearance. With no pattern repeat, the effect is all about the texture and the way the light lifts the threads across the surface.

How to use it

Use Tuscany II Wine on an armchair, banquette or occasional sofa where its saturated red can add confidence without feeling shiny. It pairs especially well with oak, dark walnut and muted neutrals that let the woven texture stand out.

Rich and tactile, this wine tone brings depth to tailored seating and accents.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
