About this fabric

This Sanderson fabric has a substantial 610gsm weight and a usable width of 138cm, making it a confident choice for upholstered pieces. The surface reads as a tightly woven cloth with crisp pattern definition, rather than a soft drape, so the motifs stay clear across larger furniture panels. In this colourway, the red is bright and coral-leaning rather than deep crimson, which keeps the design buoyant against the pale ground. Indigo detailing and cool blue-green vinework add contrast and stop the floral medallions from feeling overly warm. The vertical repeat of 77cm and horizontal repeat of 67cm give the pattern a generous, large-scale presence.

How to use it

Use it on an accent chair, ottoman or cushions where the red and indigo can stand against linen, chalk white or pale oak. It also works well in a scheme with blue-toned accessories, picking up the cooler notes in the vinework.

A bold statement fabric that lifts neutral upholstery and brings crisp contrast to a scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
