About this fabric

This fabric is a substantial textile at 601 gsm, with a usable width of 136.5 cm and a vertical repeat of 80 cm, making it well suited to statement upholstery pieces. The pattern shows stylised bonsai-like tree canopies and gingko leaf shapes in pale sky blue, aqua and creamy tones, set against a dark navy-blue ground. Its fine 180 threads per cm help the design read with crisp detail, while the repeated motif creates a richly tiered, almost mosaic-like surface. The overall effect is cooler than teal and less bright than turquoise, giving the colourway a composed, layered depth.

How to use it

Use it on an accent chair, ottoman or cushions where the dark blue ground can anchor the room. It sits especially well with pale woods, chalky neutrals and brass accents for a smart, collected scheme.

A richly patterned blue with crisp pale motifs that gives upholstery a tailored, decorative finish.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
