Tuscany II Slate

Tuscany II Weaves FabricSAF0352-13

Tuscany II Slate is a cool, steady grey with a woven surface that reads tactile and slightly chalky in the light. The close weave gives the colour a layered, stone-like depth rather than a flat plain finish.

About this fabric

This Sanderson fabric comes from the Tuscany II Weaves collection and is supplied as a Fabric with a usable width of 137.5 cm and a standard length of 40 m. At 344 gsm with 56 threads per cm, it has the substance and density of a cloth suited to hard-wearing upholstery, while the absence of any pattern repeat keeps the look clean and continuous. The slate colour sits in a muted mid-grey range, softened by warmer and cooler flecks in the weave so the surface feels gently mottled. Seen up close, the texture is prominent and nubbly, giving the cloth a tailored, architectural character.

How to use it

Use this slate grey on sofas, benches or dining chairs where you want a disciplined, contemporary base colour. It pairs especially well with pale oak, putty neutrals and brushed metal details for a calm, layered room.

A versatile grey with a crisp woven texture that suits tailored upholstery schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
