About this fabric

This Porter & Stone fabric is composed of 95% polyester and 5% lurex, with a 140cm width and a 24cm pattern repeat. In this colourway, the base reads as a dark, saturated red-brown, while the small pale flecks create a textured, almost embroidered effect across the surface. The repeating geometric motif feels rhythmic and structured, and the lurex content adds a fine shimmer that catches the light rather than shining outright. It has enough visual weight for upholstery, but the pattern also works well for drapery where a more decorative statement is wanted.

How to use it

Babylon Rosso suits rooms with warm timber, leather, or aged brass, where its deep red tone can sit comfortably against richer finishes. It will bring depth to a sofa, armchair, or lined curtain in a scheme that leans smart and slightly dramatic.
