About this fabric

This fabric is supplied with a 140cm width, a 24cm pattern repeat, and a composition of 95% polyester and 5% lurex. In this colourway, the motif appears as a dense, faceted pattern in deep taupe and brown tones, with the lurex lending a faint metallic lift when the light catches it. The overall effect is subdued rather than bright, so the design feels textural and architectural instead of decorative. Its visible structure sits comfortably in a mid-weight decorative fabric category, making it suitable for either upholstery or drapery depending on the look you want to achieve.

How to use it

Use Babylon Elephant where you want pattern with restraint: on an occasional chair, cushions, or curtains in a room of warm woods and aged metal finishes. The dark taupe palette works especially well against camel leather, putty walls, and brushed brass accents.
