About this fabric

The woven surface combines fine horizontal and vertical texture, creating a softly irregular finish that changes subtly as it catches the light. This colourway sits between brown and grey, with a grounded, charcoal-leaning taupe tone that feels composed rather than warm or rustic. Made from 100% polyester and supplied at 138cm wide, it is suitable for contract and domestic upholstery. CEL4044 is machine washable and has domestic Cig & Match flame retardancy, with the option to be treated to Crib 5 contract grade.

How to use it

Use this deep taupe-brown on a tailored sofa, dining chair or headboard where its restrained crosshatch can add texture without competing with patterned cushions. Pair it with chalky neutrals, smoked timber and muted olive or rust accents to bring out its subtle warmth.
