About this fabric

Made from 100% polyester, this 138cm-wide chenille is suitable for both contract and domestic upholstery. The surface has a compact, softly napped texture with fine horizontal and vertical irregularities rather than a defined printed pattern. Its warm brown-taupe colouring feels grounded and natural, while lighter threads give the shade a gently aged, tactile depth. CEL4042 is machine washable and has Domestic Cig & Match flame retardancy; it can also be treated to Crib 5 contract grade.

How to use it

Use this warm taupe-brown colourway on sofas, dining chairs or occasional seating where its subtle woven depth can soften darker wood and complement cream, oatmeal, tobacco and muted olive tones. It is especially effective in layered, relaxed interiors that need a quiet neutral with more texture than a flat beige.
