About this fabric

Made from 100% polyester, this 138cm-wide chenille has a compact, grainy weave that reads as a softly mottled taupe rather than a flat plain. Small threads of dusty pink, pale cream and muted green show through the warm neutral base, giving the surface quiet depth as the light shifts across it. CAT2757 is suitable for both contract and domestic upholstery, making its understated colour practical for seating and occasional furniture. It is machine washable, with domestic cigarette-and-match flame retardancy; it can also be treated to Crib 5 contract grade.

How to use it

Pair this warm taupe mélange with natural timber, oatmeal upholstery and muted blush or sage accents. Its finely flecked surface works particularly well on sofas, dining chairs and headboards where a calm neutral with visible texture is wanted.
