About this fabric

Woven in 100% polyester, CEL4038 has the close, tactile handle associated with chenille and a softly irregular texture visible across the surface. The warm oatmeal-taupe colour reads calm and natural, while fine lighter and darker threads add depth without introducing a strong motif. At 138cm wide, it is suitable for both contract and domestic upholstery. The fabric is machine washable and has Domestic Cig & Match flame retardancy, with treatment available to achieve Crib 5 contract grade.

How to use it

Use this warm oatmeal-taupe colourway on sofas, armchairs or dining seating where its quiet tonal texture can soften darker wood and complement cream, stone and muted earthy shades. It also works well as a neutral foundation for patterned cushions in rust, olive or deep blue.
