About this fabric

Woven in 100% polyester, this 138cm-wide chenille has a fine cross-grained texture that can be seen in the close-up swatch. The colour sits between warm grey and light taupe, with a softly muted finish rather than a stark or cool white appearance. CEL4036 is suitable for contract and domestic upholstery, making it a practical choice for seating and occasional furniture. It is machine washable, and its flame retardancy is suitable for domestic Cigarette and Match; it can also be treated to Crib 5 contract grade.

How to use it

Use this pale greige taupe on a sofa, armchair or headboard where its understated texture can soften stronger architectural finishes. Pair it with warm timber, chalky neutrals and muted stone shades to bring out the chenille’s gentle warmth.
