About this fabric

Woven in 100% polyester, this 138cm-wide chenille has a fine, tactile surface with subtle crosswise and lengthwise tonal variation visible in the image. The restrained berry-red colour is softened rather than vivid, creating a warm, grounded finish for upholstery. CEL4047 is suitable for contract and domestic upholstery and is machine washable. It offers Domestic Cig & Match flame retardancy and can be treated to Crib 5 contract grade.

How to use it

Use this dusky berry-red on a statement armchair, dining seat or compact sofa where its warm, shaded tone can sit against oatmeal, stone or charcoal. Pair with dark timber for a richer scheme, or pale plaster tones to keep the colour softened.

Use this muted berry-red chenille to bring warmth and depth to upholstered seating, especially alongside soft neutrals, walnut and aged brass.
