About this fabric

Made from 100% polyester, this 138cm-wide Celina chenille is specified for both contract and domestic upholstery. The dense surface appears in a rich wine-burgundy shade, with darker threads and soft raised areas adding depth across the cloth. Fine, uneven horizontal and vertical marks give the weave a subtle lived-in character while the chenille pile catches the light with restrained softness. It is machine washable and has Domestic Cig & Match flame retardancy, with treatment available to achieve Crib 5 contract grade.

How to use it

Use the deep burgundy-plum tone on a statement armchair, sofa or upholstered headboard, where its dark richness can anchor softer neutrals, aged timber and warm metallic accents. The understated texture also suits tailored seating without introducing a competing motif.
