NOS2030

Nostalgia FabricNOS2030

NOS2030 brings a deep burgundy-red ground to a large windowpane check, with mustard, ochre and blue-purple lines defining each square. Its visibly brushed chenille surface gives the geometric pattern a softly tactile finish.

About this fabric

Woven in 52% acrylic and 48% polyester, NOS2030 is a 138cm-wide chenille intended for domestic upholstery. The design is built from broad burgundy-red rectangular fields, framed by mustard and ochre bands with fine blue-purple lines that add cool contrast. A subtle horizontal chenille texture can be seen across the red areas, gently varying the depth of the colour rather than leaving it visually flat. It has Domestic Cig & Match flame retardancy and can be treated to Crib 5 contract grade; aftercare is professional.

How to use it

Use this warm, deep red colourway on a statement armchair, sofa or occasional seat where its mustard and blue-purple grid can act as the room’s main pattern. Balance the strong check with plain upholstery or accessories in aged ochre, plum, smoky blue or warm neutrals.

A substantial chenille check with deep burgundy grounds and mustard, ochre and blue-purple detailing for characterful upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
