PAS2713 is a deep crimson velvet with a smooth, plain surface and a softly shifting nap. Its saturated red tone appears brighter where the pile catches the light and deeper in the shaded areas of the swatch.

About this fabric

This plain velvet is woven in 100% polyester and measures 138cm wide, making it a substantial choice for upholstered furniture. The close, even surface has the characteristic soft sheen of velvet, while the nap creates subtle variations between vivid scarlet-red and deeper crimson. PAS2713 is suitable for both contract and domestic upholstery, with machine-washable aftercare. It meets Domestic Cig & Match flame retardancy requirements and can be treated to Crib 5 contract grade.

How to use it

Use this intense crimson-red on a feature armchair, sofa or headboard where its light-catching pile can become the room’s focal point. Balance the saturated colour with warm timber, aged brass or quieter neutral upholstery.
