About this fabric

This plain velvet is woven in 100% polyester and measures 138cm wide, making it a substantial choice for upholstered furniture. The close, even surface has the characteristic soft sheen of velvet, while the nap creates subtle variations between vivid scarlet-red and deeper crimson. PAS2713 is suitable for both contract and domestic upholstery, with machine-washable aftercare. It meets Domestic Cig & Match flame retardancy requirements and can be treated to Crib 5 contract grade.

How to use it

Use this intense crimson-red on a feature armchair, sofa or headboard where its light-catching pile can become the room’s focal point. Balance the saturated colour with warm timber, aged brass or quieter neutral upholstery.
