About this fabric

This plain velvet is made from 100% polyester and measures 138cm wide, making it a practical choice for upholstered furniture in both contract and domestic settings. Its saturated coral-red shade has an orange warmth rather than a cool crimson cast, giving the surface a lively but substantial presence. Fine changes in the pile create darker and lighter vertical impressions across the swatch, while the absence of a motif keeps the colour and texture central. PAS2712 is machine washable and has domestic cigarette-and-match flame retardancy; it can also be treated to Crib 5 contract grade.

How to use it

Use PAS2712 on a statement armchair, dining seat or sofa where its warm coral-red tone can energise neutral beige, cream or timber-led rooms. Pair it with matte black or deep brown accents to temper the brightness while retaining the velvet’s luxe depth.

Use this warm coral-red velvet to bring a vivid, softly light-catching accent to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
