About this fabric

The colour sits between plum and dusky aubergine, reading cool and restrained rather than bright or red-toned. Fine velvet pile gives the surface a soft, tactile appearance, with slightly lighter and darker areas where the nap catches the light. Made from 100% polyester, this fabric is 138cm wide and suitable for both contract and domestic upholstery. It is machine washable, with domestic cigarette-and-match flame retardancy and the option to be treated to Crib 5 contract grade.

How to use it

Use this deep plum colourway on a statement armchair, sofa or headboard where its low-key sheen can add depth without introducing a pattern. Pair it with warm timber, smoked metal and soft taupe or blush accents to balance its dusky coolness.
