About this fabric
The close velvet pile appears richly saturated in this dark petrol-blue colourway, with softer blue-grey variation across the swatch where the nap changes direction. Made from 100% polyester and measuring 138cm wide, PAS2722 is suitable for both contract and domestic upholstery. The plain surface keeps the emphasis on the depth and light response of the colour rather than on a motif. It is machine washable, with domestic cigarette-and-match flame retardancy and the option to be treated to Crib 5 contract grade.
How to use it
Pair this cool petrol blue with warm timber, aged brass and softly coloured neutrals to balance its depth. It is particularly effective on a tailored sofa, reading chair or headboard where the velvet pile can catch changing light.
