About this fabric

This Napoli colourway is woven in chenille from 91% polyester and 9% viscose, with a 138cm width and Contract upholstery grade. The close, tactile pile catches the light unevenly, creating subtle shifts between charcoal, slate and muted blue across the surface. Its restrained, texture-led appearance is plain rather than patterned, making the depth come from the weave and blue-grey colouring. Aftercare is professional; the fabric offers Domestic Cig & Match flame retardancy and can be treated to Crib 5 contract grade.

How to use it

Use NAP3470 on a tailored sofa or reading chair where its cool slate-blue depth can anchor pale stone, warm timber and brushed metal. The low-contrast chenille texture also suits upholstered headboards and banquette seating without introducing a visible motif.

Use this deep blue-grey chenille to bring cool, understated depth to sofas, occasional chairs and upholstered headboards.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
