About this fabric

This 100% polyester chenille is woven in a dense, irregular texture that combines blue-grey, charcoal and subdued blue-green fibres for a shadowed, tactile finish. At 138cm wide, it is specified for both contract and domestic upholstery. OLB3833 is machine washable, and has Domestic Cig & Match flame retardancy; it can also be treated to Crib 5 contract grade. The dark, cool colour and finely varied surface make the fabric read as substantial without relying on a formal pattern.

How to use it

Use OLB3833 on a sofa, headboard or reading chair where its charcoal depth can anchor pale walls, while the blue-grey and muted teal threads add cooler tonal interest. Pair it with brushed metal, smoked wood and soft grey textiles for a composed contemporary scheme.

Use this deep blue-grey chenille to bring tonal depth to contemporary sofas, armchairs and occasional upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
