About this fabric

Woven from 100% polyester, this 138cm-wide chenille has a dense, softly nubby surface with fine vertical and horizontal variations visible across the swatch. The dark teal and blue-grey tones are broken by lighter flecks, so the colour reads as layered and gently mottled rather than flat. Rated for contract and domestic upholstery, OLB3835 is suitable for furnishing schemes that need depth without a high-contrast motif. It is machine washable and supplied for domestic cigarette-and-match flame performance, with the option to be treated to Crib 5 contract grade.

How to use it

Use this cool, dark teal-blue on a contemporary sofa, armchair or upholstered headboard, pairing it with pale grey, smoked oak and brushed metal for a composed modern scheme. The charcoal depth also works well as an anchoring upholstery tone against warm timber and muted neutral walls.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
