Olbia FabricOLB3895

OLB3895 has a softly mottled, woven appearance built from greige, chalky cream and blue-grey threads, with restrained rust and ochre flecks adding warmth. The close-up reveals a tactile chenille surface with an irregular, slubby weave rather than a printed motif.

About this fabric

This Olbia colourway is a 100% polyester chenille, 138cm wide and suitable for both contract and domestic upholstery. Its predominantly cool greige ground is softened by pale cream fibres, while scattered muted blue-grey, rust and ochre threads give the surface quiet depth. The nubby construction catches the light unevenly, creating a gently variegated finish that feels relaxed rather than formal. It is machine washable and has domestic Cig & Match flame retardancy, with treatment available to achieve Crib 5 contract grade.

How to use it

Use OLB3895 on an armchair, sofa or dining seat where its softly layered greige tones can balance both warm and cool schemes. Pick out the subtle rust and ochre flecks with timber, aged metal or muted terracotta accents.

Its softly mixed greige, cream, blue-grey and rust tones pair naturally with warm timber, stone and understated painted furniture.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
