Olbia FabricOLB3829

OLB3829 is a densely textured chenille woven with a pale grey and ivory base, scattered through with brick red, blue, charcoal and muted teal threads. The closely mixed colours give the surface a lively, almost painterly depth without forming a large-scale motif.

About this fabric

Made from 100% polyester, this 138cm-wide chenille has a compact, tactile weave suited to both contract and domestic upholstery. The colourway balances cool grey and chalky ivory with noticeable red accents, while smaller blue, charcoal and muted teal threads add visual movement across the surface. Its raised chenille texture catches the light unevenly, making the weave read deeper and more dimensional than a flat plain. OLB3829 is machine washable and carries Domestic Cig & Match flame retardancy, with treatment available to achieve Crib 5 contract grade.

How to use it

Use OLB3829 on a statement armchair, sofa or dining seat where its red and blue flecks can enliven a neutral scheme. Pair it with warm timber, charcoal accents and quiet grey or ivory plains to let the mottled weave provide the colour and texture.

Use this densely flecked colourway to add lively red and blue detail to upholstered seating while keeping the overall look softened by grey and ivory.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
