About this fabric

Made from 91% polyester and 9% viscose, this 138cm-wide chenille is supplied as Contract-grade upholstery fabric. The close weave creates a tactile, lightly ribbed surface, while the mixed teal and grey-black threads give the cloth a cool, mineral quality. Flame retardancy is rated for Domestic Cig & Match, with treatment available to achieve Crib 5 contract grade. Aftercare is professional, making this a practical choice where the distinctive textured finish needs specialist maintenance.

How to use it

Use this deep, cool teal on a statement armchair, sofa or upholstered banquette, pairing it with pale stone, warm timber or brushed metal to bring out the aqua-grey flecks. Its dark woven depth also suits contemporary rooms that need colour without a glossy finish.

A richly textured teal chenille for upholstered seating, benches and occasional chairs.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
