About this fabric

From the Napoli collection by Cristina Marrone, this chenille is woven in a restrained mid-to-cool grey, with darker flecks creating a softly varied, textile-led finish. The close, broken weave is visibly tactile without introducing a separate motif, making the colour read as deeper where the texture gathers. Composed of 91% polyester and 9% viscose, it is 138cm wide and rated Contract for upholstery. Aftercare is professional; flame retardancy is Domestic Cig & Match, with the option to treat it to Crib 5 contract grade.

How to use it

Use this cool grey on a tailored sofa, occasional chair or banquette where its charcoal flecks can bridge pale stone, blackened metal and other quiet neutrals. The vertically textured surface adds definition to a room without competing with patterned cushions or stronger architectural details.

A cool, charcoal-flecked grey chenille suited to tailored contract upholstery and contemporary neutral schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
